Anticipated gaming tournament coming to Atlantic City

Two big names in the gaming world are coming together to give casino goers the opportunity to participate in an exciting tournament event. IGN Entertainment and Caesars Entertainment, the worlds largest casino company, are hosting the IGN Pro League Tournament at Caesars Casino in Atlantic City.

The event is slated for October 6 through 9 and will bring a number of the world’s best Starcraft II players to the city. The tournament-style competition will provide them with the opportunity to win $100,000 is prizes. Though not a typical casino game, the two companies believe that Atlantic City is the perfect backdrop for the event.

"Atlantic City is the top entertainment destination on the East Coast, and the location of Caesars Atlantic City at Center Boardwalk is prime for events such as the IGN Pro League tournament," said Don Marrandino, Eastern Division President for Caesars Entertainment. "We are thrilled to host this one-of-a-kind event in October and look forward to a fantastic weekend of intense video game competition."

While the tournament may be a large draw, Atlantic City offers avid gamblers with ample opportunity to test their luck, whether it be through roulette, poker or slots.
