There have been nine committee meetings held in Washington D.C. to discuss the possibility of changing up the regulations and polices of online gambling. However, it is expected that there will not be much of a change, and a decision will most likely get pushed back by lawmakers until January, according to The Washington Times.

One of the biggest debates has been the legalization of online gambling in the U.S., which will not only bring revenue and possibly boost the economy, but it also allow someone to play their favorite casino games – roulette, poker, blackjack and more – without going to an actual casino, the media outlet reports.

According to Online-Casinos.com, the issue is expected to be be brought up in Washington D.C. this December 5 and 6, which is when the Digital Gaming and Lottery Policy Summit will take place. The major issue that they most likely debate is whether online gambling regulations should be made based on state or federal polices.
