Why Was The MGM COO Dealing Roulette?

If you’re familiar with the relatively new show “Undercover Boss,” then you know where we’re going. Scott Sibella is COO of the MGM, and he recently went undercover in his own company. This was in an effort to see how the operation runs on the ground floor, which could then lead to improvements.

The funniest aspect of this episode was the ridiculous toupee Scott wore. With that toupee attached to his head, he first made his way to the blackjack table. He misdealt several times, which led to customers getting angry. If he wasn’t misdealing, he was taking too long to deal correctly. Luckily for him, he busted many times, which made the customers happy again.

His next step was the front desk, but the only interesting event that took place here was his trainer smoking in an undesignated area. After that, he made his way to the roulette table. His trainer, Donn, told him the payouts, but he just couldn’t remember them. He then spun the ball and it fell off the wheel. As if matters couldn’t get any worse, he put his hands in his pockets, which is immediate grounds for termination. The roulette players at the table were not pleased with his roulette dealing, especially since they weren’t winning. Scott couldn’t blow his cover, so there was no way for him to refund any money. That’s just bad timing for any roulette player. That said, MGM does have a very good reputation amongst blackjack and roulette players in regards to good runs. Therefore, if you enjoy playing roulette, then you should check it out prior to any other casino in Las Vegas.
