Facebook allows online casinos to advertise on site

Online casinos received some news that can truly work in its favor. Facebook, the popular social networking site, is now allowing advertisements from online casinos, according to Casino.com.

Facebook is looking for new ways to bump up its revenue, and it decided to take part in the online casino craze, as it has grown in popularity across the globe. However, these gaming destinations will have to pay up – to advertise on the site, they have to pay $30,000, the media outlet reports.

Now, casinos can display the fun and entertaining games they have, such as online roulette, poker, bingo and blackjack, and the players may be able to benefit if they play their cards right.

According to Online-Casinos.com, Facebook made sure to follow the rules of the U.S. by placing strict rules on the advertising.

"All ads that facilitate or promote online gambling, lotteries, sports booking, poker, bingo, and all other games of skill and chance are only allowed in those countries that have authorization from Facebook," the social networking site released in a statement.
